Terms of Service

Last updated August 11, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These terms govern access to and use of LedgerSync (the "Service"). By creating an organisation or logging in, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organisation you represent.

2. What LedgerSync does

LedgerSync accepts uploaded invoices and other financial documents, extracts structured data from them using AI, and reconciles that data against records imported from your ERP system. Extraction and reconciliation results are provided to help your team review exceptions faster — they are not a substitute for your own accounting judgment or controls.

3. Organisations, accounts, and roles

Each organisation ("tenant") is isolated from every other tenant on the platform. Organisations are currently onboarded directly by the LedgerSync team rather than via self-serve signup. The person who administers an organisation is responsible for inviting users, assigning roles, and managing who has access. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents you don't have the right to process, or that violate applicable law.
  • Attempt to access another tenant's data or bypass tenant isolation.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product by extracting its underlying logic.
  • Interfere with the Service's normal operation (e.g. abusive automated traffic).

5. Your data

You retain ownership of the documents, ERP records, and data you upload. We process that data solely to provide the Service to you — see the Privacy Policy for how it's handled, including the use of a third-party AI provider for document extraction.

6. Service availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and extraction/reconciliation results should be reviewed rather than relied on blindly for financial reporting.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, including the acceptable-use section above.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LedgerSync is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including decisions made based on extracted or reconciled data.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
